Replacement GD-ROM laser unit for Sega Dreamcast. 
Fits later model Dreamcasts equipped with the Yamaha GD-ROM drive (SPU3200 16-pin).


How to confirm your laser type:
Open the disc drive door and inspect the laser unit. If the laser has a curved edge it is an SPU3200. If the edges are straight, your console has an R48 laser and this unit is not compatible.


Installation notes
(please see pictures for further guidance):
Remove the solder point on the flex PCB prior to installation.
If the disc still fails to read after fitting, rotate the potentiometer clockwise in 10° increments until the drive reads correctly.
